Barracks (also known as Garrison in the game) are the buildings that appears in Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines and Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty. It is a regular structure that has a German Nazi flag on it which summon 3 or 5 enemy patrolmen to find and eliminate the intruders once if alarm is sound. To avoid it, you must not take a shot at any time.

- The Barracks are omitted in Commandos 2: Men of Courage since the interior map is featured.
- Those buildings can be destroyed by either any explosive weapons (if the Sapper is present) or a tank cannon (if the tank can be driven once if the Driver is present in certain missions), but some of it cannot be destroyed such as the one in A Quiet Blowup and Operation Icarus.
