In Commandos:Strike Force The M1 Garand can be seen in the hands of the Allied NPCs, it is removed in the PS2 version.
The Green Beret can use it too. Performs like the Kar98K, but holds 8-rounds instead of the Kar98k's 5-round capacity and has a better fire-rate.
