Francis O'Brien's Bio from the Zoom Platform version Manual
Captain Francis O'Brien is the Green Beret commando in Commandos: Strike Force. He serves with George Brown and William Hawkins in a Commando strike force unit.
From a New Yorker orphanage, Francis O'Brien has the most health out of the unit and is capable of dishing out the most damage.
Like all Commandos, he can use a Pistol, starting all his missions with the high damage 1911, he can use Submachine guns like the Spy and is the only Commando capable of using regular Rifles with the M1 Garand/Mauser, in addition to heavy weaponry like the Panzerfaust or BAR.
He can launch Rifle Grenades depending on the level and dual wield MP40/Thompson submachine guns as well as the Luger and Colt pistols.
He also carries a KA-BAR Knife as a last-resort melee weapon and can use it for stealth kills where he either stabs the enemy with it or snaps their neck.

Unlike Jack O'Hara, O'Brien only wears his Beret on the cover art/CGI Intro and instead has it tucked into the right shoulder of his uniform.
