Type 97 'Chi-Ha' is a Japanese army tank that appears in Commandos 2: Men of Courage. It only appears in the mission The Giant in Haiphong as an enemy vehicle and it cannot be entered and driven by the player.

- This is the first Japanese tank that appears in Commandos series.
- The Type 97 Tank is invulnerable to grenades. The only way to take it down is to either use a bazooka or place any explosive devices close to it.
